Emma is very committed to her role plays, she can stay in character for hours, days, even weeks. She has roles that we all must (excitedly) fill along with her. Yes, she can tell when you're faking or humoring her while concentrating on something else. Yes, you MUST participate. Yes, you must wear costumes when directed. Yes, you must play as long as she wishes.
A few months ago she began calling me "Mary". Why Mary, I thought. It became clear when she cuddled up beside me and announced that she was "Little Lamb". And so we've been... Mary and her Little Lamb, for several months. Our favorite part of the song is "Everywhere that Mary went the Lamb was sure to go".

(FYI, Erica is officially named "Baby Little Lamb")

She is a doll Donnie! And so is Erica. :) When Brittany was 3 she was Sarah from the Land Before Time....she would crawl around the house buck naked! It was hilarious. Alas...they grow up too fast!
